Rain or Shine, Labour Day Weekend means Demolition Derby time at the 2011 Smithville Fair!! This is a fan favourite! There are 2 nights of metal crushing mahem!  The smell of smoke and the loud noise are guaranteed to draw huge crowds to this yearly spectacle.

Thursday September 1st, 7:00 p.m.
4 cylinder cars, (no 4 x 4's)
AND NEW** Pink Lady Class, 4 cylinder

Saturday September 3rd, 7:00 p.m.
6 & 8 cylinder cars
NEW** "Team" Grudge Match, V8 class
- 4 & 6 cylinder mini vans front wheel drive only (no 4 x 4's, no rear wheel drive, no all wheel drive)

Approximately 50 pre-loved automobiles will take centre stage at Smithville Fair for the sole purpose of committing the maximum amount of damage possible and still be in running condition to win.  Winners of individual heats scramble to repair their vehicles in preparation for the final heat. The last car running takes the trophy and the CASH!!.
